Today there are many christian churches.Many of them are not according to the word of God.But some churches are stick to word of God very much than other churches.Pentacost church is one of them.There are many questions arise questioning Pentacost activities and their beliefs.Today I try to answer one of the questions that arise agains Pentacost churches regarding the using of ornaments.
first I will give a short view of the points and then brief explanation.
QUESTION 1:IS NON USAGE OF ORNAMENTS A BIBLICAL TEACHING?

BRIEF NOTE
JESUS saying
Matthew 22:20 and he saith unto them,whose is this image and superscription.We know the incidence,so I am not explaining it.If Caesar made a coin and it have his image and superscription WHY NOT WE?We are the hand work of God,then in us God must see his image and superscription. God give us beauty,healthy body and he give us clothes but he do not give us ORNAMENTS.Ornaments is made by man to express his beauty and to express his own pride and his feelings.And many ornaments made in India and other countries are according to some idol gods.When God see us,is it pleasant to his eyes we his sons and daughters wearing some false gods shapes and images in our ears and in other body parts?
In Genesis we can see 35:4 and they gave unto Jacob all strange gods which were in their hand and all their earrings which were in their ears;and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.Here too we can see before worshiping God they remove strange gods and earrings.So leading a life without ornaments is better.Also there are many verses in the book of Ezekieal,Isaiah,Revelations shows that Gold is useless in the end days and we are walking over the gold.In Isaiah chapter 14 we can see Lucifer is covered in gold but what happend to him,his heart fill with pride and God strikes him down.So if you have very high tendency to wear ornaments dont be deceived,the true deceiver also have such type of thoughts.
In bible especially in Old testament we can see Prophet and the priest Samuel-his mother said no razor shall come up on his head(1 Samuel 1:11).Likewise that of Samson.Paul says I will not eat meat.So that means others who cut their hair,eat meat are sinners...NO.It is their personal OATH before GOD.
Likewise Pentacost people are made an oath to God before baptizing that they will never wear ornaments.Thats why in baptism in pentacost no ornaments are allowed.ORNAMENT WEARING IS NOT SIN BUT IF I BAPTISED WITHOUT ORNAMENTS BY MAKING AN OATH TO GOD AND AFTER SOME TIME I,AGAIN WEARS ORNAMENTS IT WILL CONSIDERED AS SIN BECAUSE THE OATH TOWARDS GOD IS BRAKED!
